Kentucky State Police at Post 1 is investigating an armed burglary that occurred in Hickman just after 8:00 on Wednesday night.
Hickman City Police received a call from Wine Cellar II, on South 7th Street, reporting the burglary immediately after it occurred.
Hickman City Police then requested KSP to investigate the incident.
Initial investigations reveal a male entered the liquor store and approached the employees behind the counter.
He displayed a handgun and demanded money from the cash register.
After taking the money from the cash register, the male took a liquor bottle and left the store.
The suspect was operating a white SUV believed to be a Ford Edge or Ford Escape.
He is described as a black male wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, jeans, a white face mask, and a white glove on one hand.
Nobody was injured during the burglary.
State Police are asking the public for assistance in identifying the suspect and vehicle.
