Union City Police Issue Charges Following Theft of Lottery Tickets

Union City police were called to Pockets Shell, on West Reelfoot Avenue, due to the theft of lottery tickets.

Pockets Vice-President Chad Canerdy told officers that an employee, Lisa Hatchett Zalsman of Troy, had taken five lottery tickets valued at $95.

Store Manager, Brandy Gold, told police the theft was caught on camera.

Police reports said Ms. Zalsman came back to the store following a phone call and was issued a citation for shoplifting, along with a barred citation.

She was issued a General Sessions court date for February 20th.
