UT-Martin head softball coach Brian Dunn has stepped down and will retire, according to athletic director Kurt McGuffin.

Dunn oversaw 14 All-Ohio Valley Conference performers, and a pair of National Fastpitch Coaches Association All-Region honorees, during his four-year tenure at UT Martin.

The Skyhawk program produced a 96-72 record after Dunn took over as the fifth head coach in school history prior to the 2020 season.

A 1989 San Diego State alum, Dunn has posted a 545-180-3 record in 13 seasons as a collegiate head softball coach.

An announcement concerning the leadership of the Skyhawk program in 2024 is expected in the coming days.
