Dyersburg Murder Suspect Arrested in Mayfield

7t-2

A second person wanted in connection with a murder in Dyersburg has been arrested.

The Graves County Sheriff’s Office says 19 year old Jeremiah Lamonte Davis, of Humboldt, was arrested in Mayfield on Monday.

Davis was charged with first degree murder following a double shooting in January, that resulted in the death of a 17 year old and injuries to another 17 year old.

Sheriff’s reports said several law enforcement agencies responded to a home on Foster Street, where Davis broke out a window and fled on foot.

A canine from the U.S. Marshall’s Service apprehended Davis, and he is now being held pending extradition back to Dyer County.

19 year old Shaun Anthony Dial, of Dyersburg, was arrested Friday on charges of first degree murder.
