Come spring more cicadas than ever will dig their way from underground, filling the night will shinning red eyes and deafening songs.
Two different groups or “broods” of cicadas usually only come out every 13 and 17 years, but will emerge simultaneously this year.
The amount of cicadas will be in the billions this year and, only occurs every 221 years.
