UT Martin’s sophomore forwards Anaya Brown and Lexi Rubel keyed a strong second half comeback to lift UT Martin women to a 52-44 O V C win over SEMO at home.
Brown and Rubel carried the team with both player’s double-doubles and combining for 30 rebounds.
The Skyhawks improved to 7-11 and 4-3 in the OVC while SEMO fell to 6-12 and 3-4 in the OVC.
UT Martin plays Saturday at home with Lindenwood with a 1 o’clock tip.

Meanwhile a trio of U T Martin basketball players had big outings Thursday evening as the Skyhawk men defeated SEMO 84-58 last night and improved to 11-9 and 4 and 3 in the OVC.
Jordan Sears led all scorers with 20 points – his 10th game with at least 20 points, Jacob Crews tossed in 19 points with seven rebounds while Issa Muhammad had 14 points and a game-high 11 rebounds.
SEMO fell to 2 and 5 in the conference and 7 and 13 overall.
