General Sessions Judge Tommy Moore denied 32-year-old William Tyler McNeal of Greenfield bond on Monday after new information surfaced in the murder of his girlfriend, 43-year-old Krista Davis.
McNeal was arrested Saturday at the Jackson airport after police found Ms. Davis on her kitchen floor with multiple stab wounds and a gunshot wound.
Police later learned that McNeal had stabbed Ms. Davis with a sword after she was already deceased.
McNeal is being charged with first degree murder and abuse of a corpse, and is held in the Dresden Detention Center without bond.
McNeal’s next hearing is on February 7th.
