It was a game of “runs” that cost UT Martin to fall to Morehead State 84-66 last night. UTM went on a 12-0 run in the first half only to see Morehead State come back with 20 unanswered points to defeat the Skyhawks at Johnson Arena.
Jordan Sears scored 18 points with four assists and two steals while KK Curry equaled a season-high with 16 points with three assists for UT Martin. The Skyhawks fell to 10 and 9 on the season and 3 and 3 in the OVC. Morehead State improves to 14 and 5 and 5 and 1 in the OVC.
