The National Weather Service reports a Winter Weather Advisory will be in effect today for much of the Ken Tenn area.
Freezing rain is expected creating a light glaze of ice on roads and walkways causing slippery conditions.
Dense and or freezing fog is possible this afternoon or evening which may reduce visibilities and further contribute to slick roads and hazardous travel conditions until 7 pm.
This means an ice coat on sidewalks, parking lots, roads and bridges are likely.
