Martin police have announced the second arrest in a fatal shooting on December 31st.
Police Chief Don Teal said 23 year old Shykeedra M. Love, of Dyersburg, was taken into custody Saturday in Haywood County.
Love was transferred to the Weakley County Detention Center on charges of first degree murder, reckless endangerment and unlawful carry or possession of a weapon.
The arrest is in connection with the fatal shooting of 19 year old Cameron Houston, of Union City, at Cadillac’s Bar in Martin.
Houston was shot multiple times, and later died at Volunteer Community Hospital.
22 year old Quardarious Davis, of Union City, has also been arrested in connection with the shooting, and is charged with first degree murder, reckless endangerment and unlawful carry or possession of a weapon.
