Business taxpayers are getting a gentle reminder to look for a letter in the mail from your Assessor of Property.
Weakley County’s Property Assessor Lisa Odle shares information that a new five year cycle for reporting business personal property began in 2018. All businesses must submit a new complete asset listing and or a depreciation schedule for each five year cycle.
Business must submit a new asset or business listing with a completed tangible personal-property schedule and must send to the assessor’s office. Weakley County and the other 94 Tennessee counties will be sending out the new Tangible Personal Property Schedule.
