Tennessee’s Adjutant General, Warner Ross, has been promoted to major general with a two star rank this week at Tennessee’s Joint Forces
General Ross was officially sworn in by Gov. Lee as Tennessee’s 77th Adjutant General last January.
The West Tennessee native from Toone is responsible for the Tennessee Army and Air National Guard, the Tennessee State Guard, and the Tennessee Emergency Management Agency.
General Ross has served for over 33 years and has served in Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2004 and in Kuwait, in 2020, as the commander of the 194th Engineer Brigade.
