When Weakley County School children return in January all students will be eligible for free school lunches. Students already receive free breakfast and will receive free lunches.
School Director Jeff Cupples says USDA and Medicaid funding plus the work of Nutrition Director Trista Snider was able to provide school lunches to all students.
There are approximately 3,800 students in Weakley County’s 10 schools and approximately 690 teachers and support staff.
