Packing of Chimes for Charity basket begins Thursday at the Obion County School Bus Garage for clothing, food and other items for needy families in Obion County.
Volunteers are needed for the pack the baskets beginning at 11 Thursday morning.
Basket deliveries are schedule for this Saturday December 23rd.
The helping hands ministries began in 1934 by Union City Jaycees and J’cettes who have helped families annually.
A number of organizations and individuals help fund the Chimes for Charity program including the most recent Blue Lights and Banks fund raiser.
Those who wish to contribute money to the program can mail a check to PO Box 661 Union City.
