Selena Gomez is getting ready to celebrate the holidays with a new special at Food Network. “Selena + Chef: Home for the Holidays” —a four-part spin-off from Gomez’s popular Max home cooking series, “Selena + Chef” — will debut on November 30 at 8:00 p.m. on Food Network. “Home for the Holidays” can also be streamed on Max (home to her “Selena + Chef” series.)
Gomez is inviting celebrity chefs into her home to show off their favorite holiday dishes in the new special for Food Network — Eric Adjepong, Alex Guarnaschelli, Michael Symon and Claudette Zepeda. In the four episodes, each celebrity chefs will show Gomez and her best friend, Raquelle Stevens, how they use food to make the holiday season memorable. Gomez’s Papa, Nana and sister Grace will also appear in “Selena + Chef: Home for the Holidays”.
Gomez said in a statement to Variety: “The holidays have always meant so much to me. It was an honor to have these amazing chefs in my kitchen to introduce some of their favorite foods and what makes the holidays special for them.” Betsy Ayala, head of content for food at Warner Bros. Discovery, added: “With an incredible festive programming slate all season long, Food Network is the holiday destination for viewers and their families. Offering special culinary moments is the way Food Network celebrates the holidays, so to have superstar Selena Gomez, who has more than 650 million fans on social media, open the door to her own home kitchen is a holiday dream come true for fans.”
“Home for the Holidays” is just one of two new series starring Gomez for Food Network. Her next series will debut in 2024, and features Gomez ‘visiting other chefs’ kitchens in a quest to cook their most popular dishes.’
