Dan + Shay shared the video for their new ballad, “For The Both of Us.” Written by Dan + Shay’s Dan Smyers along with Andy Albert and Jordan Reynolds, “For The Both of Us” tells the story of a man asking for a father’s blessing to marry his daughter.
The video for the song, directed by P Tracy and set in black and white, features personal footage from Dan Smyers and Shay Mooney’s respective wedding ceremonies. Smyers met his wife, Abby Law in 2013 and were married in Nashville, Tenn., in May 2017, while Mooney tied the knot with former Miss Arkansas, Hannah Billingsley, in October 2017.
