The Weakley County Commission passed several budget amendments and made a swap of committee members during its monthly meeting Thursday afternoon.
The Commission approved budget amendments for the General Fund and General Purpose School Fund, including issuing bonds not to exceed $8 million for HVAC projects for Weakley County Schools.
The Board also voted to move Commissioner David Bell from the Public Works Committee to the Nursing Home Committee and Commissioner Gary Eddings from the Nursing Home Committee to the Public Works Committee.
In other business, County Mayor Jake Bynum was reappointed Chairman of the County Commission and Commissioner Dennis Doster was reappointed Chairman Pro-Tem.
The next meeting of the Weakley County Commission will be November 27th.
