Dresden’s Loral Winn, a member of the Ole Miss track team, set a new school record in the 1000 meters (3,280 feet) this weekend.
The former Dresden High School stand out, Loral set a new record of 2:46.59 surpassing Rachel Ellison’s 2004 record of 2:54.20 by almost eight seconds.
Loral is the daughter of Peanut and Shelley Winn.
