Henry County authorities are working an active shooter and possible hostage situation near Lakewood School in Paris.
A section of Highway 79 North near the school has been blocked off as the Henry County Sheriff’s Office is on the scene.
A person at the Sheriff’s Office tells Thunderbolt Radio News that Sheriff Monte Belew is asking people to stay away from the area near Indoor Heating and Comfort.
