A Gleason man is facing a theft charge after allegedly taking his mother’s car.
36-year-old James Christopher Ellis is charged with Theft over $1,000 Dollars after he allegedly took a 2006 Chevy Cobalt from his mother’s house on East Grove Road.
The mother told police that Ellis did not have permission to take the vehicle.
Ellis is being held in the Weakley County Jail.
