A Tennessee Highway Patrol trooper was killed Monday afternoon in a crash on Interstate 40 in Madison County.
THP officials announced in a press conference Monday night that Trooper Matthew Gatti was killed in a car crash while responding to a call.
The crash happened near the 74 mile marker in the eastbound lane of I-40.
